UPRIGHTS WITH SPACERS The Pilbeam upright is designed from our extensive experience and track testing to give optimum geometry and is not simply a case of moving the hub centre, which is not a good solution for the best handling. It is essential to design in the correct roll centres and camber change if the car is to work well. It also incorporates a complete brake system using AP calipers and discs (available separately), perfectly balanced for top performance in braking and handling. Brake ducts and wheel speed sensors can be fitted, with a hand brake mount as an option. The uprights also carry an improved bearing and hub assembly to suit either Series 1 or Series 2 drive shafts and wheels. Suspension geometry to improve handling and grip in racing conditions. Lightweight CNC machined upright. Stronger and more rigid upright design. High capacity hub bearings for better life and rigidity. Hubs supplied to suit S1, S2 or Pilbeam centre lock wheels.
