MP97-02 debut at Harewood The latest Pilbeam challenger in the MCL Brtiish Hillclimb Championship appeared at Harewood on Saturday after much hard work by Oliver Tomlin and Pilbeam Racing. There was no time for any testing so the decision was made to go straight into competition ‘out of the box’. Both Oliver and Sandra Tomlin did some tentative practice runs on Saturday in difficult conditions as patchy rain fell, but they had no problems and only had to polish the attractive blue paintwork ready for Sunday. The car will next appear at the Gurston Down Championship meeting near Salisbury on May 23/24.
